Spectra Therapy LASERwraps improve quality of life for your pets by taking advantage of the latest in laser therapy technologies. To understand what makes our wrap an effective choice for your family pet, it’s important to understand a little more about the effects of laser therapy on the body.

Laser therapy is a surgery-free, drug-free, non-invasive treatment to relieve pain. It accelerates the body’s natural healing process. Laser therapy is effective in treating chronic conditions, acute conditions, and post-surgical pain and inflammation in pets. Whether your pet is rehabilitating from trauma or injury, recovering from wounds, or simply aging, laser therapy has been shown to provide relief and promote healing.

Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT), which is also know as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), has been used for many years on sports injuries, arthritic joints, back and neck pain, and neuropathic (neuropathy) pain syndromes. Hundreds of clinical trials have been published about the effectiveness of Photobiomodulation, mostly around pain relief.

Laser Light Therapy improves tissue repair, and reduces pain and inflammation wherever the beam is applied. Until now, the most conventional way to give this treatment to your dog is to load him in the car and bring him to the veterinarian.

Typically these treatments take about 10 minutes and should be applied two or more times a week. This can be time consuming with a smaller dog, and outright laborious with a larger animal who may not be in 100-percent physical health. Often these trips can cost between $100 and $150/per visit. That’s all changed with the LASERwrap.

The Science Behind the Wearable LASERwrap

The LASERwrap allows your furry friend a faster recovery with less pain, by improving circulation and charging oxygen into their muscles. All of this is done from the comfort of your own home. Here’s a little more on the science.

Laser photons apply a positive charge to blood cells. Positively-charged cells repel one another, which decreases viscosity (thickness) of the blood. The extra space between the red blood cells allows more oxygen and more lymph to enter the bloodstream.

  • Increased Circulation = more blood pumped through the affected area.
  • Increased Lymph = waste fluid is quickly removed by the body’s waste channels.
  • Increased Oxygen – muscles receive greater energy for performance (a supercharge).

The Spectra Therapy Difference

Our Spectra Therapy LASERwraps and coats offer you a convenient, affordable, in-home treatment option for your pet. Our products are FDA-approved, and patented. The technology can be used on humans, horses, dogs, and cats.

The laser light performs photobiomodulation, which is the key to the effectiveness of our lasers. LEDs penetrate very shallowly versus what a laser does.  The laser penetrates deeper, and more effectively through coherent and white light waves.

The laser light is monochromatic or very pure in color, and coherent light is a special “in-phase” light. This light penetrates below the skin and affects muscle, bone, nerves, and the lymph system – giving you a molecular-level treatment.

Other treatments

Our LASERwraps are the only treatment designed to immediately treat the whole body at once.

For that reason, handheld lasers, PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequencies) mats, and other therapies may treat only part of the problem. Mats only treat one side of the body. Handheld devices target specific areas like joints, muscles or tendons.

While antibiotics treat the whole body, they can take days to work, and longer before you get your strength back.

Our Wearable Pet Devices

Our technology includes a small, rechargeable and wearable laser pack. This feeds light into small, flat fiber optic cables woven into our coat and wraps.

Even if your pet’s pain is isolated, they can still benefit from a whole-body wrap. The added coverage helps remove toxins, increase blood flow, and promote healing at a much quicker rate that narrowly targeted therapies.

Since your pet is wearing it day and night, they’ll receive a more effective treatment faster. The combination of recovery and pain relief helps your pets increase their mobility faster and strengthen their muscles. If they can exercise, they start to strengthen those muscles which hold up their skeletal system to use their body better to walk and take the stairs without tripping.

We love our dogs and want the best for them. If your dog is struggling with pain a Spectra Therapy LASERwrap can provide them the relief they need from the comfort of their home. Contact us today to find out how we can help!
