At just 12 years old, Abigail Poe has already earned a long list of Championship titles with her four-year-old Quarter Horse, Rebels Buggin Fame. Perhaps the most memorable to date was her recent success at the BFA World Championship Barrel Futurity, where she was named 2019 Reserve Junior World Champion. There’s a lot that goes into maintaining the health and fitness of her horses competing at this level, and the support of Spectra Therapy’s LLLT Wearable LASERwrap® products helps keep them at their best.
With over 15 competitions under her belt this year alone, Abigail and her mother Heather are travelling with their horses constantly. Knowing that conditioning, trailering and high-level competition can take a toll on even the healthiest horse, their well-being is always their main concern. Barrel racers in particular experience significant stress to their hocks, pasterns, tendons and shoulders. By using Spectra Therapy lasers at home, when trailering and before and after competition they are providing the extra support their horses need to remain sound and in peak performance with a competitive edge.
Heather writes, “We own other therapy products including PEMF, but none are as convenient or effective as Spectra Therapy. The LASERwraps® keep their legs tight and reduce swelling while the blankets significantly reduce body soreness.” She continues, “Their cordless, programmable application provides a level of convenience that just can’t be beat, and it’s clear that the horses really enjoy their treatments.”
Spectra Therapy is proud to welcome Abigail, Heather and their horses to their family of canine, equine and human clients. Watch for Abigail and Rebels Buggin Fame as they go for the gold once again in the upcoming OKC Four-Year-Old Futurity, December 10-15th in Oklahoma City!
