Wearable LASERwrap® is the only wearable, automatic, and unattended laser therapy product on the market. Spectra Therapy is the first company to develop an application that can deliver this wearable form of this powerful therapy to most any area of the body, and it is FDA-cleared for at-home individual use versus large clinical equipment. The application is called LASERwrap®, and the benefits of the automated and repeated treatments are noticeable in just a few hours.
Spectra Therapy’s Wearable LASERwrap® is affordable, convenient, safe and simple to use anywhere and anytime. LASERwrap® bends photonic energy and contours the healing power of light to the area applied. Unlike other lasers that treat only the point of interest, per single application, per attendant, Spectra treats the entire surrounding area repetitively and unattended. LASERwrap®, via the automatic cycles, repeatedly improves the transfer of liquid in and out of the body’s cells, helping them to absorb oxygen and flush lactic acid and other inflammatory enzymes. When wrapped around an extremity, a wearable chamber is created, similar to an incubator treating soft tissues, bones, arteries, veins and meridians. It does not require goggles or any traveling as you own the device for use at any time. Various wraps and pads are available to customize a system to best fit you and your family members’ needs. What are some the therapeutic benefits of laser therapy? Laser therapy is non-invasive and drug free that can improve the quality of life. Laser therapy:
- Reduces pain
- Improves vascular activity
- Stimulates muscles
- Improves nerve function
- Accelerates tissue repair and cell growth
- Accelerates wound healing
- Reduces the formation of scar tissue
- Stimulates and regulates immune system
Laser therapy is drug free, all natural treatment that works quickly to promote healing and pain reduction. Many drugs relieve the painful symptoms of acute and chronic conditions. Unlike the pain relievers, laser therapy also treats the condition in addition to relieving pain and inflammation. Laser therapy is gentle and soothing and can have immediate effects without the mental and physical side effects of strong pain relievers.
Very much like how sunlight converts Vitamin D by our bodies, the light from the laser(s) help the body to convert glucose and oxygen into vital energy for the body. This light stimulates receptors on the mitochondria which is also called the powerhouse of the cell. This stimulation results in increased circulation and blood flow, which in turn accelerates healthy tissue repair, and reductions in pain and swelling.
Yes. Laser therapy has been cleared by the FDA and Health Canada approved. It is a safe, non-invasive, drug-free treatment option that is an effective alternative to drugs and surgery. Spectra Therapy wraps and pads bend photonic energy and contour the healing power of light to the area where it is needed. When wrapped around an extremity, we create a wearable chamber, similar to an incubator treating soft tissues, bones, arteries, veins and meridians. Spectra’s laser wraps and pads outshines class 3 and 4 lasers with probes that require attendants because it is wearable, portable and has automatic repeat cycles. The repetitive treatments at the prescribed intervals can be compared to the energy derived from eating 4-6 times a day to establish and keep a balanced metabolism versus one big meal per day.
The programmable feature stores two programs which are easily identified by a GREEN or BLUE light. Although several different programs are available, each unit is pre-programmed and delivered with two programs that have proven to be consistently effective. The standard program modes identified by a BLUE or GREEN light and are as follows:
Use of the BLUE setting, will automatically administer four laser treatments to the patient over a two hour period. The 20 minutes between treatments is just as important as the therapy time, allowing time for the body’s own lymph system to activate and cleanse the area. For the first three days, we recommend wearing the LASERwrap® every 4-6 hours three times a day to accelerate the healing process and relieve stress by stimulating healthy blood flow, soft tissues and reducing muscle and joint pains.
For a less interval time, the option is available to apply the wrap with the GREEN mode. The GREEN setting provides 10 minute treatments with a 10 minute interval time with a higher intensity laser treatment.
The BLUE mode is most recommended for overnight, but either program works well for day time or overnight treatments.
For the athletes, wearing the wrap for three to four – 12 minute treatments for the two hours before an event will energize the system. Application of the wraps after an event will help to eliminate the lactic acid and reduce muscle soreness.
For injuries, three consecutive days of BLUE treatments has proven to accelerate the healing process, which involves the wrap being applied for two hours twice a day, typically in the morning and at night. Depending on the severity of the injury or condition, at least one two hour cycle, which is four treatments daily, is then recommended for a period of time. The quicker the therapy is used after a traumatic injury or surgery, the less time for edema to build and the quicker healing and recovery will occur. For chronic conditions, use of the device on a regular basis in either mode is recommended.
|BLUE:||12 minutes of therapy with an interval time of a 20 minute pause|
|GREEN:||10 minutes of therapy with an interval time of a 10 minute pause|
Depending on the condition being treated with LASERwrap® you can feel improvement in as little as 2 or 3 treatments on the first day. A reduction in pain is typically the first improvement you will notice. For some acute conditions, a few days of treatments may be sufficient. Chronic conditions may require more days and conditions such as arthritis may require ongoing use to manage and control the pain. Everyone responds to laser therapy differently so results vary.
Depending on the condition, acute or chronic, the results may be long lasting and permanent. Laser therapy by Wearable LASERwrap® is promoting healing and not covering up the problem or condition. When you feel better you are better. Chronic conditions may require ongoing use to manage the condition.
Yes. LASERwrap® is safe to use over implants or metal. Using LASERwrap® after orthopedic surgery can speed recovery and get you back to normal activities. Unlike micro currents and other stimulating or therapeutic devices, it can be used with a pacemaker.
Yes! LASERwrap® is very effective when combined with other therapies, such as chiropractic, massage and other soft tissue mobilizations, passive exercises, physical therapy, acupuncture and nutrition. Wearable laser therapy is a breakthrough treatment that can speed up healing and help you to achieve maximum results from your other therapies. Applying LASERwrap® is recommended before and after the above treatments along with in between sessions. It helps to release the muscles and improve circulation for an overall more effective treatment.
The fee for most clinic visits to receive one treatment can cost $50 to $150 per visit. A range of 3 to 25 clinic treatments are typically needed with around 10 visits being average. Depending on the condition some maintenance treatments may be recommended. LASERwrap® is affordable because you own the device and do not have to travel to a clinic, which is time, money and convenient for our busy schedules. In the convenience of your own home, at work, in the car or most anywhere, Wearable LASERwrap® provides you with advanced laser technology at a fraction of the cost of office-based laser therapy. Requires no time spent traveling or in an office visit and can provide immediate treatments that are automatic and repetitive. Plus various pads and wraps are available to meet the needs of all family members. Single and multi-wrap systems currently start at less than $995.
Most, if not all, private or public insurance plans do not cover laser therapy; therefore, they do not cover the purchase of LASERwrap®. However, due to the growing popularity of the treatment and the fact that every insurance company is different, we recommend that you contact your insurance company directly. If it is not covered by your medical plan, you may still be able to get reimbursed with your Health Spending Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds. In most cases, LASERwrap® will quickly pay for itself over a short period of time by reducing the number of co-pays, monthly pain medications, clinic visits, traveling and lost work time involved with other treatment methods. You also own the device for you and your loved ones to use at any time at your own convenience. The laser device works with all pad and wrap options which are available to customize individual needs. If you have been struggling with a problem for a long time, price is typically not a consideration.
